Scully No sooner had the trial ended than Scully rose and left the stage. Please find below a list of terms relating to the Adhara Space Station Universe as well as a pronunciation guide.

The pronunciation guide relates to how the authors pronounce the words and may differ from original or regional pronunciations. 

Except for non organic individuals (AIs etc) this glossary does not include characters.

Adhara (ad-Har-ra)
An exclusive space station near the centre of Alliance Space.
Also the personification of the space station's artificial intelligence. Consort of Draconis and mother of Cygni.

AD
An abbreviation meaning 'Alliance Day'. Used when writing the date for example: 10,025AY 09AM 01AD.

Algol (Al gool)
A space station whose primary function is hard manual labour from mining on the planet below. The population consists mostly of escaped criminals or fugitives who seek sanctuary rights on the station and offer labour in exchange for a lack of prosecution. Innocent people born or raised on the station can leave at any time so long as they can pay for or find transportation.
Also the personification of the station's artificial intelligence. Consort of Big Dipper.

AM
An abbreviation meaning 'Alliance Month'. Used when writing the date for example: 10,025AY 09AM 01AD.

AY
An abbreviation meaning 'Alliance Year'. Used when writing the date for example: 10,025AY 09AM 01AD.

A top of the range Com-D.

The Big Dipper
The most populous space station in the Alliance. Home to people from all walks of life with accompanying social stratification. The Alliance equivalent to a multicultural metropolis such as London or New York.
Also the personification of the space station's AI (Big Dipper). Consort of Algol.

Bim (rhymes with sim)
One of the five planets that created The Alliance. Bim is located near the centre of Alliance space and is the nearest planet to Adhara Space Station.
Natives of this planet are referred to as Bims.

Com-D (com-Dee)
A computing, communication device (smartphone, tablet, bio scanner etc).

Cygni (Sig-nee)
A space station dedicated to the production of entertainment media for the Alliance. Home to many performers and artists.
Also the personification of the space stations artificial intelligence. Daughter of Adhara.

Draconis (Dra-co-nis)
Power capital of the Alliance located near to Adhara Space Station. Location of the residence of the President of The Alliance. The main facility of the Alliance military academy and other important governmental institutions and offices.
Also the personification of the space stations AI. Consort of Adhara and father of Cygni. Brother of Algol.

Duat (Do-At)
One of the five founding planets of The Alliance, located near the centre of Alliance Space.
Natives of this planet are referred to as Duatian.

Empyrean (Em-pi-Re-an)
One of the five planets that created The Alliance. Ancient home of the ASS universe's deity 'I-Am'. Empyrean is located close to Bim, near the centre of Alliance space.
Natives from this planet are referred to as Empyreanites.

Hapi (Hap-e)
A moon of Varuna.
Natives of this planet are referred to as "... of Hapi" (currently as of 12/01/2020)

Ptah (puh-Tar)
One of the five planets that created The Alliance. Ptah is located quite near to the centre of Alliance space.
Natives from this planet are referred to as Ptahians.

Varuna (Va-ru-Nah)
One of the founding planets in the Alliance. A water world near the centre of the Alliance, Varuna is closest to Ptah.
Natives of this planet are referred to as Varunians.

Zodiac
The currency of The Alliance. Zodiacs are shaped like Chinese cash coins.
The smaller domination of the currency is called zodi-cents. One Zodiac is worth 100 zodi-cents.
