The Adhara Academy Chronicles 2

  Lorraine Leydon was the first person in the long illustrious history of the Academy to ever be removed as the Student Council President for any reason other than ill health or injury, and whilst her removal was just another of the many things Lorraine was fated to be remembered in history for, it created an issue for the other students. After the victory party at Rumpton Court Palace, Ta-Shra arrived back at the dormitory apartment she shared with Lorraine in the early hours of the morning. She had driven back to the school in one of Adhara’s self-driving cars with her brother and their friends, before parting company with them in the hall and heading off to her dormitory to make some pretence of going to sleep. Look Around Apartment




Having escorted you to your apartment Adhara makes her excuses and dissipates telling you that the self driving car you just drove in has been assigned to you for the remainder of your stay aboard her. 

Once the AI is gone you decide to take a more detailed look around the apartment noticing that your luggage has already arrived from your ship. 

The apartment still appears to be very luxurious and you smile with satisfaction when you notice that L’Hotel Rouge, the most expensive hotel anywhere in Alliance space is visible from the window of the larger bedroom, but now that you know the other apartments in your block are being retrofitted and Adhara considers yours to be “a bit shabby” you can’t help but wonder if you’ll eventually be upgraded to something better. 

Vaguely annoyed that your mission didn’t allow you to arrive on Adhara a little later so that you could actually stay somewhere nice, you decide to freshen up a little before you go to meet the admiral for your debriefing. You go over to your suitcases to take out a fresh uniform when you notice that a message has been fixed to the top of it. 

The message reads:

“You dug into my business so I’ve dug into yours. I know why you’re really here. Leave!” 

A chill runs down your spine. In your line of work you’ve been threatened before but you didn’t expect it to happen on a station like Adhara. Knowing that you have to act quickly you decide to:
